The Show

We just about recovered!!

Firstly a big thank you to Robert and Charlotte of Holme Pierrepont Hall for being the best host one could ask for, the sun was out in force and the Hall and gardens looked amazing. 

Thank you all for attending our first show at the hall, many of you attended our shows at the previous location and from the feedback, you like Holme Pierrepont just as much.

Talking about the sun, wow it was hot, too hot for some, but it did make all the cars look amazing, especially in the photos that Neil Kates Photography did for us as you can see, the variety was just fantastic, the eras/genres crossed the automotive timelines and was amazing to see TVRs next to Split screen campers, old BSA’s, Bentley’s, Austin Mini’s to Honda NC30’s all so wonderful to see.

Attendance wise, well we ran out of gift bags (we had 250) and cars kept rolling in!!

Our chosen charity was HOPE Nottingham – we was not expecting the volume of food donated, we expected a few crates but as people started to bring in the donations the very apt term of ‘You’re gonna need a bigger boat’ came to mind!

We did plan to take items back in our van but there was no way we could so luckily Robert and Charlotte was able to let us use their storage in the hall for Hope to send in a volunteer van driver to collect. We also had money donations and that raised a fantastic £235.00. Thank You to all who donated.

Our food vendors, many of you will know we are quite picky when it comes to food vendors, we always go to our favourites, Boxed Drinks and Big Melt, keeping us filled with lovely coffee and cheesy sourdough toasties, not forgetting Mario’s Ice Cream, there was a beeline for him when he arrived!!

The Clique53 team, what can we say, we are like one big family, without the brilliant help from you all, there will not be a show to put on, every show you all work tirelessly to ensure the show runs smooth. Thank you
